As part of our commitment to the greater community, Frontier is proud to volunteer our services to Athena Fund and its renowned “Laptop Computer for Every Teacher in Israel” program.
Athena Fund is a non-profit organization established in 2006 to promote the empowerment of teachers in Israel. Named after the Goddess of Wisdom in Greek mythology, the Fund was founded by prominent business leaders in Israel under the direction of President Uri Ben-Ari (current CEO of UBA Ventures and former Executive VP of Ness Technologies).
The Fund’s flagship initiative is the innovative “Laptop Computer for Every Teacher in Israel” program. Since its launch in 2007 and up to the end of 2015, the program had provided laptop computers and 120 hours of professional training to over 12,000 teachers in some 500 communities across Israel. Significantly improving student learning, behavior and participation in the classroom, the program aims to provide a laptop computer and professional training to each and every teacher in Israel.
In 2012, the program was expanded to include Israeli kindergarten teachers. In 2014, the Fund launched a new initiative aimed at providing educational touchscreen tablets (with built-in sensors) to science teachers in Israel. In 2015, the Fund introduced a new program providing iPads to special education school and kindergarten teachers.

Not long after launching our ‘Laptop Computer for Every Teacher in Israel’ program, we turned to Frontier. Since then, Dan and Eliot have provided us with expert content assistance in a professional and personable manner. We greatly appreciate Frontier’s generous and ongoing support of our work on behalf of Israeli teachers and students.
